ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Jose Ivan Rodriguez’s journey is one of grit, reinvention, and an unwavering commitment to environmental change. His professional journey took a major turn in 2019 when he lost his job but found strength in adversity, pivoting to launch his own business, Environmental Team & Associates (ETA), with a focus on environmental compliance.

Through a combination of business acumen and passion for environmental issues, Jose Ivan built a thriving business centered on helping restaurants and small businesses with stormwater, fats, oils, and grease inspections. During the pandemic, Jose Ivan saw an opportunity to scale up his business. He expanded into grease hauling, a service critical for maintaining clean and safe environments in restaurants.

Amidst it all, ETA is not just about profit—it is about leaving a legacy for his family, especially for his four daughters, who now have a lasting example of what it means to rise from hardship. His ultimate goal is to grow his business, leave a mark on his community, and inspire others—especially immigrant families like his own—to dream big and never give up.
