NPDES / IGP
INDUSTRIAL general permit
The IGP requires industrial businesses within a specific set of SIC codes to comply with California Storm Water Permit monitoring requirements. We train our customers in BMP implementation, proper sampling and record keeping methods. Our experienced and certified QISPs prepare Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for industrial facilities to the meet the requirements of the IGP for storm water associated with industrial activity. ETA also provides storm water sampling services with our pick-up and delivery to lab for analysis, making it easy for customers. Our experienced consultants will determine the parameters required for testing, arrange for pick-up of your storm water samples and have the samples analyzed at a California State Certified Lab. Additionally, filing for a stormwater permit via a Notice of Intent (NOI) can be complicated depending on the state’s requirements. ETA can prepare the necessary permit registration documents (PRD’s), including SWPPP and Site Maps, and submit them to your SMARTS Account.
